UI’s management and the Joint Council/Senate Committee has decided on naming streets and buildings of the Senate Chamber after the foremost Psychiatrist, former Deputy Secretary-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the second Vice-Chancellor of the institution between (1968-1971), Professor Thomas Adeoye Lambo (March 29, 1923 – March 13, 2004).
