It is no news that the University of Ibadan decided that her students should remain at home for the first semester of the 2020/2021 session. Since the school would be operating virtually, it is expected students should stay at home. You and I know that even with the decision made by the authorities of the university, it is not possible for all students to comply with the “stay at home policy”.
The Nigerian Army on Monday said troops of Operation Lafiya Dole, have killed scores of the Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Borno. The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Mohammed Yerima, disclosed that the terrorists were eliminated on Saturday, NAN reports.

Insecurity is an inner feeling of being threatened and inadequate in some way. As humans, we all have our individual fears and insecurities of varying magnitude. Sometimes, they are difficult to pin point let alone work on them but if we want to live a peaceful life, healthy, and happy life figuring out, acknowledging and managing our fears is of great importance. If unchecked these insecurities have a way of affecting other parts of your life including your LOVE LIFE.
The average Nigerian answer would probably be a resounding YES! As it has become very glaring to Nigerians as the years roll by. It is quite pityable that the so called “African Giants” have become quite the opposite as it is gradually, if not totally becoming a shadow of itself. This Editorial would expose us to the height of insecurity that now dwells in our country.
