REPORIENTATION | LET THERE BE LIGHT!

The gas providers now probably have hideous meetings with the light providers,
Cut them off! Cut them off!
Make them patronize us daily
Let them wallow in light deficiencies

The engines suppliers say to the lighters
Put them in total darkness,
We need the darkness to make profits
They can’t function without the light
And we can’t make sales without the darkness

There’s a longing in our hearts,
To witness a better Nigeria.
Where we no longer need to burn the gas to energize our business
Let there be light!

We are tired of the corruption,
We are sick with the pollution,
We need a solution
So as not to remain in confusion

If only the leaders will arise and shine
Then, our nation can be a shining light
We need not wait at the tunnel end
We’ll be light even in the dark tunnel

Even, O God of Creation,
Needed the light to forge ahead,
Real progress starts when there’s light
To shine on our path and lead us.
