#BBNaija | A QUICK RUNDOWN OF THE BIG BROTHER NAIJA SHOW AND HOUSE MATE ‘KAYVEE’ WHO WITHDREW FROM THE SHOW FOLLOWING ALLEGED MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE.

This year’s Big Brother Naija begun on July 24th with twenty two house mates. Two weeks into the show three of these house mates were evicted d and four new house mates added to the show. Ololade Olajide, who came on the show as Kayvee was amongst these four new entries.

His stay was however was cut short barely two weeks after joining the show. Reports has it that Kayvee was advised to withdraw from the show following his struggle with his mental health. This is a huge turn in the BBN show as Kayvee is believed to be the first house mate to voluntarily exit the house. This took place following the housemates calling Big Brothers Attention to Kayvee’s sudden display of behavior suggesting mental health challenges.

His fellow housemates believed Kayvee to have been acting weird for a while and wondered if he was in character or just a part of the show. White money another house mate cited an instance where Kayvee turned of the washer which was in use by another house mate. The 26 year old was advised to withdraw from the show on grounds of poor mental health which he had been display whilst in the house as he showed signs of not being mentally stable.

The announcement of his withdrawal was made to viewers and housemates by the head of house Pere on behalf of Big Brother where it was noted that Kayvee was unwell for hours and he had been consulted by a doctor who advised that he withdraw from the show to care for himself. This came as a shock to many viewers “What is happening in the house is simply a reaction to him being unwelcomed. He was full of life when he got into the house, and something has triggered this phase. This has caused him to withdraw into his shell to rebuild his energy and vibe…”

The housemate will be the first to voluntarily exit the show on medical grounds. Following the exit of kayvee from the show, the housemates were given a task on mental health. This saw many of the bbnaija housemate breakdown in tears following their various experiences.
