The Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, has called on its freshmen who are interested in contesting for the titles of Mr. and Miss AFAS 2023/2024 session to apply for registration.
This is in compliance with the faculty’s yearly tradition of appointing, through the contest, two students of both sexes among the newly admitted students as the faces of the faculty. This is done in a bid to integrate the new students into the social happenings of the faculty, opening them up to a session of adventure and social experiences.
Applicants who emerge as winners do not only get to be crowned the new Mr. and Miss AFAS, but also stand to win prizes worth over a hundred thousand naira. These winners also stand to gain recognition and viable opportunities to network and connect within the faculty. They are also exposed to profitable link-ups, that may prove useful for personal growth, business growth and all-round development.
